Static controlled areas need matting to reduce and protect expensive equipment from static electricity, and ESD matting often requires additional accessories to function as intended. Use this 15' cord to connect all ESD tabletop and floor mats to a building ground. The solderless terminal can be connected to an electrical outlet using the screw in the outlet cover. The grounding cord easily connects to the female snap on mats, allowing static electricity to quickly defuse from individuals before they transfer it to sensitive equipment such as computers.
