Made for workers wearing insulative shoes, the Heel Grounder allows static electricity to pass from the worker to the ESD matting or flooring. A conductive strip is positioned within the user’s shoe or sock which allows for electrical contact with the skin via perspiration. The conductive strip is attached to a resistor and connected to a conductive sole which drastically limits the voltage in case of an accidental exposure to electricity.Note: Heel Grounders must
be worn on both feet to maintain a continuous path to the ground while allowing the fabric strip to touch the your skin for the best performance.
