We have hardwood floors in our kitchen and I read an article about a woman who put a Waterhog runner in her kitchen that she loves. I thought how smart! A kitchen floor gets dripped on and grungy over time, and we can take it outside and power wash it clean. I ordered this 3x5 first to ensure the 150 Camel color was correct because we also need a 3X10 runner in this kitchen. I figured that if the color didn't work so well in there, I could use the 3x5 in front of a door. The color is perfect and the mat looks GREAT, so we ordered the 3X10 to match last week but have yet to receive it. We chose the cleated backing and the mat doesn't move at all, not even when pushed by a foot. (the finished edges make it look much less industrial) The service has been great and we were notified along the way when to expect arrival. We couldn't be happier and would recommend Xpressmats to anyone. We will certainly use them again in the future.
