Soft enough to walk on barefooted, the Wet Step anti-fatigue mat can be used for a myriad of wet area applications both in and outdoors—plus the Nitrile rubber construction provides resistance to chemicals making it suited for anything from operating rooms to restaurants.

• Nitrile rubber cushion is UV treated for outdoor use and will last for years without degrading.

• Excellent anti-fatigue properties, the soft cushion is comfortable to walk on with bare feet.

• Drainage holes prevent water from pooling, allowing it to freely drain away.

• Anti-microbial treated for lifetime protection against odors and deterioration.

• Can be autoclave sterilized for health care applications.

• The backing has molded rubber knobs that keep the mat stationary and is certified slip-resistant by the NFSI (National Floor Safety Institute).

Great Quality, but Extremely Slippery when wet

Quality and durability seemed great (wonderful that it can withstand sanitizing methods), however when placed on tile floors and then the floor becomes wet, these mats slip a lot. Having a different style "nub" on the bottom, or suction-like cups on the bottom would make this product perfect for our residential facility.

Waterproof mat for our screened lanai

We bought this to sit on ceramic tile in our lanai . We live In Florida and the summer storms are intense, dropping up to 6” of rain at a time! Screened porch areas get wet! We purposely avoided any woven style area rugs due to the amount of water that ends up out there and the proceeding mosquito infestation afterwards. It’s working well. We avoid slip and fall hazards for both us and our dogs. It’s waterproof. It drains. The only minus is it’s appearance. Pretty much an industrial type mat.
